Our charity gala raised almost $50K for Kids Under Cover thanks to you, our A1 Office friends

As a CEO, professional moments don’t get much better than this. In fact, it’s a little hard for me to express the level of gratitude I feel toward A1 Office’s clients, supporters and staff.

A few months ago, we began planning for our biggest charity event yet – our Give Me Shelter Gala Dinner on September 1 at SEA LIFE Melbourne.

To be able to share the news that together we raised $48,124.93 for Kids Under Cover, is simply inspiring.

Together, we’ve raised enough funds to put a roof over an at-risk young person’s head, right here in Australia.

Kids Under Cover can now either build a brand new studio or use it for a relocation. Studio accommodation comes complete with one or two bedrooms and a bathroom, usually placed in the backyard of a family at risk of breakdown, or for foster carers who need more room to accommodate young people in their care.

This studio provides a semi-independent living space for the young person to live and study, while remaining at the house. See more here

For those of you who attended the Gala, I’m sure you will attest that it was a great night and could feel the time and dedication our A1 Office team put in to making it so.

For a busy commercial interior design and construction firm, many of you in our industry will know that time isn’t always on our side. But we did it anyway. Why? Because giving back is something all good companies of means should do.
