Company mergers can be a challenging time for employees faced with uncertain change. But they can also signal exciting new beginnings – if approached the right way.

In 2017, A1 Office was selected by a national healthcare provider to play a major role in its revival by creating a new 2000m2 office. As workplace interior specialists, A1 Office designers are experts in creating workspaces that inspire and motivate employees.

Our in-depth understanding of workplace culture and the uncertainty mergers create for employees produced the starting block from which we created our conceptual base.

Our earliest design conversations focused on colour – and the leading role it would play in setting a new positive tone and in comforting employees. Innovative colour use could transcend these different employee needs, and create a workplace that achieved both a sense of excitement and tranquillity.
